Letter from the Editor
Take Me With You! is a luxury travel newsletter run by me, Jennifer Leigh Parker. I’m an American journalist based in New York, a city I love to flee… and invariably return feeling ever more grateful for the big apple.
Since 2011, I’ve been lucky enough to write about what’s new and next in travel, and have shared my stories on the radio and in print (with two luxury magazines under my belt as editor-in-chief). As I write this, I’m cruising the Aegean Sea. I’ve eaten whale blubber with Faroese sheep farmers, harvested purple sea urchins off the coast of California, lived in Paris long enough to become fluent in French, and later, became so enamored with South Africa, I married a South African. (He loves traveling, too).
My raison d’être is captured in this quote:

As a travel curator (with pretty amazing access to the world’s top spots), I’ll also help you parse the good from the exceptional by sharing destination features, exclusive interviews, and detailed hotel reviews. Read me, and you’ll see, feel, smell and taste what it’s like to ‘be there’ and hopefully be inspired to discover these places yourself.
Recently, I’ve offered first looks at the new Paris metro, broken news about facial recognition technology at Atlanta airport, and shared news of Italy’s vintage train renaissance. At the moment, I’m busy covering sustainability practices in the travel industry, such as the use of sustainable aviation fuels (SAF) in electric aircraft and efforts to reduce food waste on cruise liners. My byline appears in Forbes, Lonely Planet, Bloomberg Pursuits, Skift, Surface magazine, Washington Post and Saveur magazine.
